OVC 2024: Multimodal imaging: Providing a window into the future of eye disease (Recorded Webcast)

Activity Outline

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and glaucoma are two of the most common causes of vision loss in Australia – but not all patients with these conditions will progress.

The evolution of multimodal imaging in recent years has given us great insight into structural changes associated with both conditions. With constant improvements in technology and in our understanding of what is being imaged, we can predict and diagnose disease progression with more certainty than ever before.

In this webinar, we will explore the latest evidence-based techniques, tips and technology to equip you with the tools to detect vision-threatening disease earlier.

Learning Objectives

  • Interpret multimodal imaging to detect disease progression in glaucoma and AMD
  • Recognise multimodal imaging disease biomarkers and how they relate to potential disease progression in glaucoma and AMD
