  • Lecture 1 : Dr Richard Wolfe "Laser refractive surgery: the latest" Objectives: - understand what is available for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia - determine patients' laser suitability - manage cases post-operatively including medications used
  • Lecture 2: Dr Justin Sherwin "Lens-based Refractive Surgery" Objectives: - understand lens-based surgical approaches to refractive correction, including the management of presbyopia - discuss with patients the benefits and risks of phakic intraocular lenses and refractive lens exchange
  • Lecture 3: Dr Elvis Ojaimi "OCT and Vitreoretinal interface disorders" Objectives: - identify V-R traction syndrome - interpret normal vs pathological macular OCT
  • Lecture 4: Dr William Tao"When Glaucoma is not Glaucoma"Objectives:- recognize some non-glaucomatous visual field defect pattern and the associated pathologies - determine the best approach to patients who present with field defect- interpret OCT NFL in management of glaucoma patients
