As a cataract and refractive specialist, Dr Armand Borovik sees a large proportion of presbyopic and cataract patients who wish to gain independence from glasses or contact lenses. This can be achieved through either corneal refractive surgery to give the patient monovision, or through lens-based surgery. Here, he provides advice on talking to patients about presbyopia correcting intraocular lenses.
