  • 1a. Outline common medical reasons for eye watering with primary care management. 1b. Outline common surgical reasons for watery eye requiring referral. 1c. Outline uncommon and potentially dangerous reasons for watery eye requiring investigation and possible referral.
  • 2a Outline the common reasons for the appearance of upper lid droop. 2b Understand the assessment of the various causes of lid droop. 2c Understand likely surgical options for dealing with upper lid droop.
  • 3a Outline the possible features that lead to diagnosis of thyroid eye disease. 3b Have an appreciation of current approaches to management of thyroid eye disease.
  • 4a The current ophthalmic management of common ocular conditions such as AMD, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease
  • 5a Identify how management of common systemic conditions such as; diabetes, hypertension and obstructive sleep aponia can impact on eye conditions
