  • Identify different retinal disease in particular diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration
  • Be empowered toward making informed decisions and management plans for their patients.
  • Understand the visual impact of certain retinal diseases and feel confident to counsel and advise patients with information to manage their disease better.
  • feel confident in assessing the malposition of eyelids: Ptosis, ectropion, entropion
  • feel competent in assessment of symptoms and signs related to malposition of the eyelids
  • Acknowledge and refer their patients in a timely manner to an oculoplastics specialist
  • Understand the requirements of Medicare on certain Oculoplastic items
  • Understand the different item numbers for oculoplastics required for Medicare
  • Feel confident to follow through with Medicare requirements and queries and who to contact
