  • Understand what makes a patient suitable for laser refractive surgery and what to consider; corneal topography, dry eyes, general health, occupation, personality traits and management of expectations
  • Understand the positive outcomes on performing PRK enhancements over LASIK flaps and discussion on patient recovery times and long term refractive error stability
  • Appreciate how Optometrists and Ophthalmologists can manage Keratoconus via a channelised approach
  • Comprehend the range of emerging Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) Intraocular Lens (IOLs) technologies and potential side effect profiles
  • Formulate an algorithmic approach to care for dry eye post-cataract surgery and incorporating newer treatment options into clinical practice
  • Appreciate the emerging role of Ripasudil in maintaining corneal clarity in patients with corneal guttae and cataract
