Activity Outline

Sydwest Eye Specialists are proud to provide an educational evening for optometrists. Drs. Nancy Younan, James Chau-Vo and Simon Nothling will present on a variety topics including:

Anterior Uveitis

Is low tension glaucoma the diagnosis?

OCT interpretation in retina diseases 


Learning Objectives

  • Recognise signs of anterior uveitis and refer to ophthalmologist
  • Be aware of sight threatening complications of anterior uveitis.
  • Be able to differentiate between low tension glaucoma and other causes of optic neuropathy
  • Be aware of systemic associations with low tension glaucoma progression
  • Understand the anatomy of the macula on OCT scan
  • Understand the OCT changes in various macula diseases
