  • Understand the factors to consider and the information to gather prior to embarking on a post-operative subjective refraction in an adult patient who has received multifocal intraocular lenses
  • Interpret defocus curves of commonly used trifocal and extended focus intraocular lenses
  • Optically optimise vision for any working distance for a patient with mutifocal intraocular lenses
  • Understand the potential systemic implications of some common retinal, intraocular and ocular surface findings seen in optometric practice and develop appropriate referral strategies
