Learning Objectives

  • Understand their role and impact of the RANZCO Glaucoma guidelines to the care of patients within the Southern Highlands
  • Understand their role and referral recommendations and urgency for patients with ARMD with the Southern Highlands
  • understand the indications and postoperative course of patients with new MIGS devices
  • be able to identify and outline management of common medical retina conditions as shown on a diagnostic fundus image or OCT scan
  • be able to identify features on slit lamp exam of OSSN
  • Review management and follow of patients with OSSN including role of optometrists
