Join optometrist Susan Gaskell for a one-hour virtual event covering developments in presbyopia-correcting IOL design, patient counselling and pre- and post-operative management.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the different types of presbyopia correcting IOLs (PCIOLs)
  • Understand the features, advantages and benefits of different PCIOL types used in cataract surgery
  • Understand the importance of managing and treating the ocular surface prior to consultation with a surgeon for cataract surgery and post-operatively
  • Identify and discuss which IOL option may suit patient’s individual needs and prepare them for surgical consultation
  • Understand the post-operative visual recovery process
