Learning Objectives

  • Have an understanding of the different topical agents used for the management of glaucoma
  • Be able to provide a brief description of MIGS and their role in the management of glaucoma
  • Define when patients suspected to have glaucoma require referral
  • Describe the role of optometry in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma
  • Have a general understanding of trabeculectomy surgery and when it is indicated over alternate management options
  • Understand the post operative care of trabeculectomy surgery and the role of optometry in this.
