Learning Objectives

  • Build on their ability to use optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging as a tool to detect pathology in a broad spectrum of clinical cases, including more complex scenarios
  • Build on their ability to manage and make decisions for the benefit of patients in relation to retinal and macular disease
  • Be better informed about the screening, detection and management of diplopia in childhood aiding clinical decision making and priorities
  • Understand the types of lenses used in cataract surgery, refractive options & the impact of corneal pathology detection (such as keratoconus & astigmatism) on refractive outcomes of cataract surgery
