Optometry Victoria South Australia will be holding a series of CPR refresher courses for OV/SA members in the coming months. AHPRA requires that optometrists renew their CPR certificate every three years. This course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Please note:  Important changes to the way we run CPR training due to COVID

To ensure we are operating in a COVID Safe environment we will be inviting attendees to complete the theoretical component of the course online.  This will be a self-guided program where you will be required to complete the assessment prior to attending the evening.  Upon registration, details will be sent to you on how to access this course.

On the evening of the CPR Training, all registered attendees will be provided with practical CPR demonstration to complete the CPR Refresher course.

Due to social distancing requirements, we may be required to group sessions to limit the number of people in the room at one time.  Groups will be determine closer to the time and all registered attendees will be notified in a separate email.

Cost:                 $70 for members

Catering:
Due to COVID, our usual buffet style dinner will be replaced with take-away dinner boxes. Please ensure you have informed us of any dietary requirements.
