- Understand the pathogenesis of carotid cavernous fistulas
- Recognise the clinical symptoms of carotid cavernous fistula and how to differentiate it from the more common causes of conjunctival injection
- Be familiar with the condition Vogt Koyanagi Harada Syndrome and its mimics
- Be aware of the AIBSE and AMPPE as the possible cause for unusual patient symptoms such as flashes and scotomas without obvious clinical cause.
