This talk aims to illustrate the benefits of collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to diabetes management and the crucial role optometrists play in this. The importance of communication across disciplines will also be highlighted. The panel style discussion will demonstrate how collaboration and engagement across disciplines can benefit each other’s clinical decision and ultimately patient outcomes.
