The evening will incorporate three of our Ophthalmologists presenting on topics to help update new advances and future direction for certain eye disorders and technology. Dr Weng Ng - "How to set Target IOPs and how to achieve them" & Dr Nathan Wong - "Therapeutic corneal laser procedures - applications and updates" and Dr Trevor Gin - "Clinical Case Studies"
Learning Objectives
- To understand the importance and rationale of setting Target IOPs
- To understand what factors to consider when setting Target IOPs
- To learn the treatment options which enable us to achieve different Target IOPs.
- Understand the range of laser treatments available for associated corneal conditions/diseases, including combination treatments ie. PTK/CXL, PRK/CXL, and others
- Risks vs benefits of laser treatments - corneal healing vs scarring
- Novel uses of the femtosecond and excimer laser technology, ie. CAIRS
- Deciphering clinical scenarios
- Working out differential diagnoses
- Working out management plans
