  • Evaluate patients with transient visual loss
  • Appreciate the association between systemic disease and transient visual loss particularly vascular disease, amaurosis fugax, and the risk of stroke
  • Review ocular investigations for patients with transient visual loss
  • Better understand how to grade retinopathy
  • Better understand when to follow up or refer
  • Develop an understanding of the pros and cons of treatment options
  • Develop an understanding of the main risks of cataract surgery
  • Develop an understanding of the outcomes following a complication
  • Develop knowledge about the treatments available
  • Identify clinical signs of secondary open-angle glaucoma
  • Understand how management and glaucoma progression differs in secondary glaucoma cases
  • Better understand rates of glaucoma progression in these cases
  • Review and better understand Uveitis glaucoma syndrome
  • Review and better understand Ocular Ischaemic Syndrome
  • Review and better understand different presentations of neovascular change in Diabetes
