Learning Objectives

  • Identify appropriate treatment options for myopia control
  • Understand their role in a a collaborative care approach to treating myopia
  • Discuss emerging trends in treating myopia using combination therapies.
  • Identify what PXF is and how it presents
  • Understand the risks that PXF presents pre, during and post operatively to cataract surgery
  • Identify and describe clinical indicators for intervention and referral
  • Understand and discuss current first line glaucoma treatments available to patients and their advantages and disadvantages
  • Be able to recognise the role that MIGS vs SLT play in reduction of prescribed therapeutics for the treatment of glaucoma
  • Develop collaborative management strategies for glaucoma patients using appropriate treatments and therapeutics
