  • 1. Understanding the anatomy of the lacrimal system its relationship to the nose 2. Appreciating the differences between endonasal DCR and the more conventional external DCR procedures 3. Basic understanding of the endonasal DCR technique
  • 1. To understand the natural history and ocular complications of high myopia 2. To consider possible interventions to prevent myopia progression 3. To appreciate management options for patients with pathology due to high myopia
  • 1. Differentiation in refractive lens designs 2. Patient selection for Refractive lens choice 3. Management of complications in MFIOL and ICL
  • 1. Understand mechanisms underlying allograft rejection in corneal transplantation 2. Be aware of the various types of modern corneal transplants and understand the relative risks of corneal allograft rejection and failure for each type: Full thickness grafts and Lamellar grafts 3. Understand the importance of corneal allograft rejection and its role as the most common cause of graft failure 4. Understand the definitions of graft failure and gain an overview of the various treatment options
  • 1. Understand the preoperative strategies used in cataract surgery to obtain a postoperative focus to yield a ‘happy patient’ 2. Understand considerations including surface issues and biometry 3. Understand the relative risks, benefits and indications for Monovision/blended vision and Multifocal IOL’s
