Learning Objectives

  • Describe the differential diagnoses for orbital pseudotumour, as well as the presenting signs and symptoms, workup, and management
  • List the PBS conditions approved for treatment with Vabysmo, and understand its potential benefits over other intravitreal drugs
  • List the conditions dupilumab is approved for, and also the ocular side effects. Know which side effects may warrant cessation of treatment
  • Describe common characteristics of sessile and pedunculated papilloma, the association of UV and human papilloma virus, and when treatment may be required
  • List key features when examining an ocular surface tumour to assist in diagnosing and also prioritising the differential diagnosis
  • List which of the types of OSSN have metastatic potential, and the management approach to these
  • Describe the signs and symptoms of ocular rosacea, it’s complications and management
  • List causes of non-glaucomatous optic neuropathy, and describe how to differentiate these using history, work-up and ancillary testing
