  • Understand the most frequent causes of and risk factors for pseudophakic cystoid macular oedema, obtain insight into the underlying mechanism of this common retinal disorder.
  • Understand the use of retinal imaging and advancements that have been made in imaging for early detection and treatment monitoring, and its use in differentiating from other masquerade conditions.
  • Understand the ladder of treatment for cystoid macular oedema, discuss the pros and cons of different treatment strategies including complications of treatment.
  • Discuss the preventative strategies to reduce risks of cystoid macular oedema
  • Manage post-op uveitis effectively
  • Be aware to always look for causes if atypical inflammation
  • Understand the refractive relevance of corneal profiles.
  • Understand that not all AC cells are the same and the iris can give us clues to problems
