Learning Objectives
- Assess various causes of corneal opacification and make appropriate decisions about referral for intervention
- Understand advantages and disadvantages of various forms of refractive surgery for myopia and their limitations
- Have an understanding of the risks and benefits of phakic intraocular lens implantation (ICL) for myopia
- Understand issues involved in intraocular lens choices and potential refractive outcomes in cataract surgery and how these are assessed prior to surgery.
