  • Module 1: Justify whether axial length measurement is required in myopia management
  • Module 2: List key binocular vision tests to perform for a child with progressive myopia
  • Module 2: Diagnose binocular vision abnormalities for a child with progressive myopia
  • Module 2: Treat binocular vision abnormalities for a child with progressive myopia
  • Module 2: Describe the recommended addition power of an optical-based treatment for those with abnormal phorias
  • Module 2: Describe the best management strategy for a child with both progressive myopia and a binocular vision issue
  • Module 2: Explain the effect on the phoria status due to the myopia control strategy employed
  • Module 3: Describe best practice for fitting multifocal contact lenses for a child
  • Module 3: Describe best practice for fitting ortho-K for a child
  • Module 3: Manage variable and poor vision in children using different strategies (multifocal contact lenses, orthokeratology, low-dose atropine)
  • Module 3: Troubleshoot common issues encountered with ortho-K
  • Module 3: Describe when to consider partial correction with ortho-K
  • Module 3: Where appropriate, justify use of low-dose atropine treatment for more than 2 years, or for continued fast progression
  • Module 4: Discuss the prevalence of high myopia, and risk of ocular conditions associated with high myopia.
  • Module 4: Discuss the impact of high myopia on patient quality of life
  • Module 4: Diagnose and manage the signs and symptoms of pathology associated with high myopia.
