Presentation 2: The role of KeepSight in your practice – Supporting people with diabetes - Linda Karlsson

KeepSight is Diabetes Australia’s national diabetes eye check reminder program, delivered in partnership with the Australian eye sector. Patients registered with KeepSight will receive a reminder, in addition to the regular optometry practice recall, when their diabetes eye check is due. Regular diabetes eye checks can prevent diabetes-related blindness by detecting problems early when they are treatable. In the presentation, Linda will provide more information about KeepSight, how to register a patient on KeepSight, how to talk to patients about KeepSight and seek their consent to register them, as well as examples of the reminders and how they work.
