Learning Objectives

  • Understand the current classification of primary angle closure and when is suitable to indicate Laser Peripheral Iridotomy in Angle Closure Explore & Cataract Surgery in Angle Closure.
  • Understand current techniques in assessing fundus lesions for diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring.
  • Understand the newest intravitreal drugs currently available for nAMD and dry AMD and to understand the mechanism of action of intravitreal Pegcetacoplan and Faricimab
  • Understand to use clinical cases to explore the role of Pegcetacoplan & Faricimab in current clinical practice, and to explore practical issues regarding Pegcetacoplan treatment.
  • Understand the indications and the contra-indications for LALEX; to understand the risks and complications of LALEX surgery and different LALEX platforms - what they have to offer
  • Understand Pre operative consideration, IOL Selection and Surgical considerations
  • Understand when are various imaging used and the diagnostic information that can be gathered and to understand how to interpret various imaging modalities
