  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the relative efficacy of the principal myopia management options. (KG-1)
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the main risk factors for the development of myopia in children. (KG-1)
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand that there is no safe level of myopia and that strategies to minimise onset and progression are vital. (KG-1)
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the lifetime risks of visual impairment and how these risks increases with axial length. (JT)
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the principles of dual-focus optics and the efficacy of the MiSight 1 day contact lens for myopia management. (JT)
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the various myopia control options for different patient types.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand how to use online and other tools to educate parents and children about myopia as a risk factor for visual impairment.
