About The Show
Fortunately, Jennifer Wong (ABC’s Chopsticks or Fork?) has a fully functioning neck. Expect observational comedy that’s cornea than any other, from “one of Sydney’s funniest comedians” (The Guardian), with stories about minds and bodies and the way we see the world.

As seen on The Cook Up (SBS) and Celebrity Letters and Numbers (SBS)

“A quick-flowing hour of self-deprecating, hilariously absurd situational stand-up. There’s something deeply human and moving beneath her non-stop humour.” ★★★★½ – InDaily

“Smart wordplay and elegant cheek.” The Sydney Morning Herald

“Sharp storytelling, sizzling insight, considered observation. And puns. Wong is one to watch closely.” The Daily Telegraph

Doors: 6:30pm
Start: 6:45pm
Show Duration: 60 minutes
Entrance: Main doors located on William Street.
Content Warnings: Adult themes and coarse language.

What People Are Saying
Audience members so far include an optometrist who travelled from Port Augusta to Adelaide for the show, and a woman with retinitis pigmentosa who said:

We had an incredible night at Jennifer Wong’s stand up comedy show called Jennifer Wong has no Peripheral Vision, as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. It was amazing to learn about Jennifer’s journey with Retinitis Pigmentosa and mental health. Her performance was powerful, poignant, relatable and SO punny.

It was so awesome to meet more of our RP family, and kinda cathartic being in a room of (presumably) mostly sighted people, hearing the words ‘Retinitis Pigmentosa’ being spoken. Jennifer is bringing great awareness to the condition and how blindness is truly a spectrum – there’s no one way to look or act blind and it affects people of all ages and stages of life.

To echo one of Jennifer’s closing sentiments, please get your eyes checked! Eye health is so important. Even if your sight seems fine or normal, you may not realise things have changed.”
