A 3 hr Face to Face presentation via PowerPoint. Group to be divided into smaller group for case study discussions (interactive). Presented by 3 ophthalmologists.

Learning Objectives

  • participants should be able to distinguish between open angle and closed angle glaucoma
  • participants should be aware of the management plan for glaucoma
  • participants should be able to understand different types of medications used for the treatment of glaucoma.
  • participants should be able to triage an ocular emergency.
  • participants should be aware of the management plan for an ocular emergency
  • participants should be able to understand the urgency of referral for certain eye emergencies.
  • participants will be updated on the different anti-VEGF therapy used for AMD and DME.
  • participants should be able to differentiate the signs and symptoms of AMD and DME
  • participants should be able to understand the urgency of referral for wet AMD and DME
