- Understand the chemistry and pharmacology of eye drop emulsions
- Understand how ciclosporin may work to improve severe dry eye signs and symptoms
- Understand the PBS eligibility criteria for the prescription of ciclosporin
- Interpret results of the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) and Corneal Fluorescent Staining (CFS) grading, assess eligibility, and apply for PBS authority prescriptions
- Communicate therapeutic management plans including potential benefits, cost, dosage and frequency, and consider factors affecting the ability of patients to adhere with instructions
