Nexus Eyecare Blacktown invites you to join us for our upcoming educational evening. Our specialists will be presenting with exciting line ups of topics:

1. Dr Godfrey Quin will be discussing diabetic retinopathy - hot new topics including Ozempic and Eylea 8 mg.

2. Dr Daniel Narayan will be discussing about how cataract surgery can treat glaucoma.

3. Professor Chameen Samarawickrama will be discussing Regularising the Unregularisables - CAIRS in Keratoconus


Learning Objectives

  • Develop a better understanding of the signs and symptoms of the different levels of diabetic retinopathy
  • Understand the role of anti-VEGF agents (like Eylea and Eylea HD) in managing diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema
  • Understand the relationships between cataract and glaucoma
  • Recognise the impact of cataract surgery on glaucoma patients
  • Understand new treatment options for the treatment of keratoconus
  • Recognise irregular corneal astigmatism in patients who are candidates for CAIRS procedure
