We have a plan to make sure you still get all your CPD this year through a special SRC Online event. We’ve even carried your registration across from O=MEGA21 to make it as easy as possible for you to get what you need. For less.
Most lectures planned for O=MEGA21 are coming across to SRC Online, so the program is going to be outstanding.

What does this mean for my money?
Registrations for online conferences shouldn’t cost as much as face to face conferences. We will automatically refund a significant portion of your O=MEGA21 registration fees.
Because we have many hundreds of delegates signed up for O=MEGA21 this could take a week or so – please be patient with the OV/SA team as we organise these refunds.
Depending on your type of registration, the amount of refund you get will vary.

What if I don’t want to go to SRC Online? Can I get a full refund instead of a partial refund?
Absolutely yes. We’ve transferred you across to protect your registration and protect your access to CPD. If you don’t want to go to SRC Online email office.vicsa@optometry.org.au and we’ll refund all your O=MEGA21 registration costs.
What is SRC Online?
It’s a virtual conference, held on the same dates and the same times as O=MEGA21 was scheduled to be held. Keep these dates blocked out on your calendar: Thursday 2 September to Saturday 4 September.
Why is it called SRC Online?
SRC stands for Southern Regional Congress, a brand owned by OV/SA. For decades it was the largest and most respected annual CPD conference in Australia, until we teamed up with ODMA to launch O=MEGA in 2019. ODMA are still partnering and supporting us with SRC Online, although of course this year we won’t have a trade show.
How many hours of CPD can I get?
Plenty. The program has up to 23.5 hours of content (with assessment), including up to 14.5 therapeutic hours of content (with assessment) and up to 8.5 hours of interactive content (with assessment).
Aren’t online CPD conferences a bit dull?
Not this one. It’ll look much more like a professional TV broadcast than a series of pixelated views up lecturer’s noses. It’ll be interactive, colourful, educational and fun. We’re really excited that Cassandra Haines and Sophie Koh have agreed to join us as hosts of SRC Online, and they’ll guide us through the program.
We’re working closely with production company Scene Change, which did a stellar job with us at the hybrid Blue Sky conference earlier this year.

What about my interactive hours?
You’ll get access to up to 8.5 hours of interactive content (with assessment) at SRC Online.
Our presenters will send you into virtual breakout rooms. We’re working with Scene Change to moderate those breakout rooms and make them truly interactive so you can make the most of your learning together.
