  • Discuss and evaluate how the retina has the capacity to tell us more than what is simply going on in the eye
  • Understanding the importance of the retina (an extension of the central nervous system) and how it can provide us with information about cortical health.
  • Understanding the current evidence to suggest ways in which optometrists can incorporate this knowledge into their everyday practice.
