Activity Outline

OCT has become an important tool to help the eye care professionals in the diagnosing retinal diseases and glaucoma and to help in the monitoring of the disease. Certain optic nerve diseases can also be diagnosed on OCT. This seminar will provide pearls on the utilisation of the OCT in their day to day practice to diagnose and manage these conditions.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop better understanding on the clinical features and use of OCT in the diagnosis of common retinal diseases.
  • Develop better understanding of the management of common retinal disease and be able to co-manage these conditions
  • To be able to use the OCT to aid diagnosis of glaucoma and use OCT in the co management of the disease
  • Develop a better understanding on the use of OCT to diagnose optic nerve swelling.
