Wanting to boost your clinical skills when it comes to the anterior eye? Wanting to get more confident in corneal foreign body removal?
In collaboration with Nexus Hospitals, we are fortunate to have ophthalmologist Dr. Nelson Kuo lead us in a clinical skills night with a focus on foreign body removal and lacrimal lavage.
Learning Objectives
- To discuss the method and techniques for corneal foreign body removal and lacrimal lavage
- To familiarise participants with the tools/equipment required to remove corneal foreign bodies and perform lacrimal lavage
- To revise the handling techniques required in corneal foreign body removal and apply it in a practical workshop with a model cornea
