International Women’s Day

Celebrating International Women’s Day is a core part of our commitment to creating a culture of Respect. Always! Held on 8 March every year, the theme for 2025 is ‘Accelerate Action‘ to a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. Together we can forge gender equality. Collectively for #IWD2025 we can all #AccelerateAction.

In 2024, the theme was ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate progress.’ We celebrated by highlighting three wonderful,  progressive women members who lead the way, every day: Michelle Du, Lisa Kingshott and Nicola Mountford.

‘Cracking the code – Innovation for a gender equal future’ was the theme in 2023. We highlighted members within our sector who are ‘cracking the code’ in various ways that help create new social, economic, and cultural codes.

Read the stories below about members who have:

  • Championed innovation that specifically encourages gender equality or supports women
  • Overcome a gender related challenge in new ways
  • Implemented innovative changes to the workplace that benefit women
  • Done things unconventionally to fit with their career and life goal.
