Dr Pricilla Ho - B.Sc, O.D.
My name is Pricilla and I’m the ECO WA President and Board member since 2023 and OWA member since 2018.
I completed a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology and Immunology) at the University of Melbourne in 2013 and then continued post-graduate studies obtaining a Doctor of Optometry degree at the same university in 2017. I currently split my time in my own independent practice, Vision Care Eye Centre, and working at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Ophthalmology clinic.

I hope to help recent graduates build a supportive network as they transition into the workforce and through ECO, inspire others to find their area of interest and broaden their scope of practice.
Outside of optometry I’m an avid foodie and have taken up running to bring some balance. My goal is to run a half marathon this year

My name is Yee Teng (Ella) Goh and I am the Vice President for the ECO WA committee. Finishing my Masters of Optometry from the Queensland University of Technology in 2016, I made my journey to the west. I have recently started a new managing role at the Oscar Wylee in Morley Galleria.
The ECO group was a great support in my transition from interstate, and we hope to foster a collaborative environment for all our members!

Andrew Nguyen
Hey there, my name is Andrew and I am an ECO WA committee member and current treasurer of the Optometry Western Australia Board. I completed a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) from Monash University in 2011 following which I undertook my post-graduate studies at the University of Melbourne where I completed the Doctor of Optometry program in 2015. I currently split my time working at my own independent practice, Vision Care Eye Centre, and at the Ophthalmology clinic at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
My aspirations whilst being part of the ECO is to create a better environment for young optometrists, as they transition from university life into the workforce. I also hope to contribute to expanding the scope of what optometrists can do in practice and in hospitals. Lastly, I think we should strive for building better interpersonal relationships with our peers from other professions as we are an allied health profession.

My name is Charlene and I am currently a committee member of ECO WA.

I completed my Master of Optometry at Queensland University of Technology in 2017. Following graduation, I moved to Perth as a graduate optometrist working for a corporate practice for 1.5 years before becoming a locum for another 1.5 years mainly in Perth, Sydney and Canberra. I am now the resident optometrist at Bailey Nelson Claremont and have an interest in Myopia Control.

Outside of optometry, I also have an interest in data analytics and business management. I hope to combine that with my optometry skills and contribute to the future of our profession through this humble opportunity of being a part of ECO WA.

Eric Chen
My name is Eric and I’m a committee member of ECO WA. I’ve completed a Master of Clinical Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science with UNSW. I am currently a full time employee with Specsavers and plan to own my own store in the near future. I aim to provide a supportive environment for recent graduates, early career optometrists and to help wherever I can!
