Learning Objectives

  • Objective 1: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand how to perform an examination of the intraocular lens, assessing for typical complications including malpositioning, dislocation, and opacification
  • Objective 2: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to discuss strategies for the treatment of common intraocular lens complications including conservative and surgical methods
  • Objective 3: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand and discuss when to refer intraocular lens-related problems for further review and consideration of further treatment

  • Objective 13: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to have an update on Medicare requirements on certain Oculoplastic items.
  • Objective 14: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to have a good understanding of current diagnosis and treatments for macular degeneration.
  • Objective 15: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to have a higher level of understanding of how Artificial Intelligence can help with the diagnosis of ARMD
  • Objective 16: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to have more insight into new treatments being trialed for ARMD
  • Objective 17: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the epidemiology and clinical presentation of intermittent esotropia.
  • Objective 18: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to have a greater understanding of the different classifications of intermittent esotropia.
  • Objective 19: At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand how to treat intermittent esotropia with non-surgical options.
