The ECO WA group presents Dr Tom Cunneen for the last CPD of the 2021 CPD calendar.   Further information is below on the topic and session information.  This is a CPD is in person only, no Zoom.  Date has been changed from previously advertised 30th November, it is now confirmed as Monday 29th November.

  • Have an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the iris.
  • Assess a patient with anisocoria
  • Exclude serious and life-threatening causes of anisocoria

Dr Tom Cunneen

Show details

Tom Cunneen is an ophthalmologist working in Churchill Ave, Subiaco and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He has an interest in refractive, cataract and pterygium surgery. He underwent surgical training at the Sydney Eye Hospital before completing a corneal and then an oculoplastic fellowship in the UK. In 2015 he was the first surgeon in WA to offer corneal cross linking in the public system.

Dr Cunneen is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, member of the Australian New Zealand Society of Corneal Surgeons and Australian New Zealand Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons. He is a Director of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists and sits on the board of the Australian Medical Association.
When not working he enjoys surfing and spending time with his wife and four daughters.
