- understand what information the ophthalmologist uses to choose a patient's IOL
- feel confident about writing a referral for cataract surgery
- understand that patient satisfaction needs to be managed from the beginning
- inform the patient the IOL options available and emerging, and who may suit what
- Have increased confidence in assessing patients with narrow angles
- describe to a patient how an iStent is inserted and how it works
- have increased confidence in differentiating retinal lesions and using ocular imaging to help with this
- Identify signs of ocular conditions which can rapidly deteriorate without intervention
