  • Recognise the role both pharmacists and optometrists play in optimising eye health and management
  • Recognise and differentiate between eye conditions that commonly present in the community
  • Discuss common ophthalmic medications available in community pharmacy including discussion of contraindications and precautions
  • Recognise appropriate referral pathways for patients presenting with eye conditions
  • Recognise resources that can be referred to, to respond to common clinical challenges relating to managing common eye conditions
