The University of Melbourne Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences has announced a new short course designed for optometrists seeking to further their expertise in managing childhood myopia.
Experienced researchers and clinicians will facilitate the two-day interactive course to provide practical insight into contemporary myopia management.
The program, co-ordinated by Dr Laura Downie, will involve a combination of lectures, case scenarios, collaborative discussions and workshops. The course includes a practical, clinic-based session to provide experience with orthokeratology contact lens fitting.
The course will take place on 17-18 June at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus.
Enquire early to register interest as numbers are strictly limited. The course costs $990 for registration on or before 1 May, and $1,320 after 1 May.
Catering, course materials and a certificate of attendance will be provided.
CPD: 36 CPD points, 18 therapeutic points, pending approval.
