Registrations are open for Optometry Virtually Connected, Optometry Australia’s annual national education conference, which will take place Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 June 2023.

Optometry Australia invites you to attend this year’s Optometry Virtually Connected, our national education conference which returns by popular demand for a fourth year of CPD learning.

Our keynote speaker this year is Professor Andrew Turpin, who will explore AI, machine learning, and why the flood of data now available in care settings is underutilised. He headlines a full program featuring up to 22 hours of quality assured clinical content to help you super-charge your CPD learning requirements over one weekend.

Since its launch in 2020, Optometry Virtually Connected has established itself as one of the leading optometric education forums in the Southern Hemisphere. Held completely online, our national conference gives delegates a cost-effective and convenient option accessible from the comfort of your own home, with no travel or accommodation expenses required.

Our 2023 live CPD program offers a comprehensive education experience with over 30 hours of quality-assured clinical content, and the flexible format of the conference allows attendees to maintain patient appointments in-between webcasts or attend at their convenience throughout the weekend. All hours that you spend attending Optometry Virtually Connected sessions, plus any assessments undertaken, will be uploaded directly into your Learning Plan.

As an Optometry Australia member, there are no costs or attendance fees involved. With no travel costs or accommodation to pay, this reduces our collective environmental footprint leaves more in your pocket to do the things in life that you like to do.
