OA invites expressions of interest to support up to three Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander optometrists and/or optometry students to attend the Optometry Clinical Conference from 9 – 10 August, on the lands of the Turrbal and Yuggera Peoples, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Registrations are now open for the Optometry Clinical Conference (OCC) 2026 held in Brisbane this August, with a powerhouse program featuring international and Australian clinical experts. Presented by Optometry Australia, OCC has quickly established itself as one of the profession’s most significant national clinical education events.
As optometry evolves, keeping up with new knowledge is essential, particularly understanding how to apply that new knowledge into clinical practice. That’s where interactive, case-based CPD comes in. Unlike traditional lecture-style learning, case-based education places optometrists in realistic clinical scenarios.
Optometrists in the Northern Territory will soon have hands-on, practical professional development closer to home, with Optometry Queensland and Northern Territory (OQNT) hosting Darwin Interactive (18-19 April 2026): a boutique, face-to-face CPD conference delivering case-based learning through immersive clinical sessions and peer discussion.
