Optometry Australia has just launched Optometry Connection Online. The new microsite is a fully searchable digital archive for all Optometry Connection articles, created to make it easier for members to access the wealth of content that has been published in Optometry Connection over the years.

You can now find specific articles, searchable by keyword, topic, issue and author. Curated collections and bonus online-only articles will also be regularly added.

Initially, the articles from each issue will be added to the site within two weeks of publication. The March 2024 edition is now available.

There is no change to the delivery of the print publication or PDF, or to how you complete the CPD module in the Optometry Australia Institute of Excellence.

Optometry Connection, Optometry Australia’s CPD publication, was established in 2020. From technological advances in the detection and treatment of ocular pathologies to selected case reports and clinical studies that advance the provision of primary eye care, Optometry Connection represents a new era in delivering quality content that meets contemporary education standards. Its aim is to support optometrists in their day-to-day patient and clinical care decision making while adequately representing the full scope of practice in contemporary optometry.

Optometry Connection is published in print and PDF form five times each year, in March, May, July, September and November. A CPD module with assessment questions is available for each issue.

Visit Optometry Connected Online now to access the digital archive or complete the CPD module for the March 2024 edition here

Acknowledgement of Country

In the spirit of reconciliation Optometry Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
