Optometry 2040 workshops at SILMO Sydney 2018 are now accredited with two non-clinical CPD points.

Optometry Australia members have a choice of which workshop time they prefer:

  • 10:00am to 12:00pm, Saturday 21 July 2018, ICC Sydney
  • 1:30pm to 3:30pm, Saturday 21 July 2018, ICC Sydney

Attendees do not have to complete any assessment questions. Two non-clinical CPD points will be automatically credited to attendees.

The workshops are free for members and are part of a year-long initiative led by Optometry Australia.

Register to attend either of the two workshops at SILMO Sydney.

Each two-hour workshop at SILMO Sydney will focus on helping optometrists to identify likely and preferred futures for optometry, optometrists, and community eye health over the next 20 years.

Attendees will be encouraged to consider technological, economical, political and demographic changes to the sector and how they can future-proof their practice and profession.

Professor Niki Ellis, consultant and researcher, will facilitate the workshops that will involve both didactic and interactive components.

Optometry Australia is a principal partner of SILMO Sydney 2018.
