Optometry 2040 workshops in Brisbane and Adelaide are now accredited with two non-clinical CPD points and venues are confirmed.

The workshop in Brisbane will be held at the Mantra on Queen on Tuesday 7 August 2018, 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

The workshop in Adelaide will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 14 September 2018, 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Attendees do not have to complete any assessment questions. Two non-clinical CPD points will be automatically credited to attendees.

The workshops are free for Optometry Australia members and are part of a year-long initiative led by Optometry Australia.

Register to attend the workshop in Brisbane or Adelaide.

Each two-hour workshop will focus on helping optometrists to identify likely and preferred futures for optometry, optometrists, and community eye health over the next 20 years.

Attendees will be encouraged to consider technological, economical, political and demographic changes to the sector and how they can future-proof their practice and profession.

Optometry Australia National CEO Lyn Brodie and National Policy Manager Skye Cappuccio will facilitate the workshops that will involve both didactic and interactive components.
