iCare is providing members of Optometry Australia, who co-manage glaucoma, with the opportunity to take part in a pilot program for the next generation iCare HOME, a device designed to improve the management of glaucoma.
The program will commence early next year. All devices will be offered on a consignment basis and full sales and marketing support will be available.
iCare HOME enables treating optometrists to gain an extensive and accurate view of a patient’s diurnal IOP, with up-to-date information that can benefit treatment decisions and add significant value to modern glaucoma management strategies, all accessible via cloud software.
For patients, iCare HOME is easy to use and helps improve patient compliance. It uses the same gentle rebound measurement technique used in other iCare tonometers with no anaesthesia or eye drops needed.
