Young Optometrists NSW is looking for new additions to its executive committee for 2016.

To encourage professional growth, YO NSW focuses on networking and social interaction between optometrists in their first 10 years after graduation.

YO NSW wants diversity in the optometrists represented on its committee. Locums, academics and researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.

‘We’re keen to get new, excited and passionate members to keep the momentum going with YO to ensure that young optometrists have a bright future, through active engagement and authentic networks,’ YO NSW chairwoman Carina Trinh said.

Applicants do not need to be a current member of YO NSW but should be enthusiastic about optometry and supporting other optometrists.

Applications close on 5 February 2016. Interested optometrists are encouraged to apply through the Young Optometrists website.
