The Franchise Council of Australia has announced Specsavers is the Established Franchisor of the Year.
At its annual awards night, the council noted that Specsavers had won the award due to its extraordinary growth since it began operating in Australia in 2008.
Specsavers was also presented with the council’s Excellence in Marketing award for the 2013 Alex Perry, Collette Dinnigan and SuperTough Lenses campaigns.
Specsavers’ global retail director and Australia general manager, Derek Dyson, and marketing director, Stewart Roussel, accepted the awards on behalf of the company’s central support team.
The awards were announced on 22 October, during the National Franchise Convention 2013 on the Gold Coast.
