Optometry Australia now ranks No.1 in Google ‘non-paid’ optometry rankings.

A higher profile means that the role of optometry is more widely recognised for its value to the health-care industry.

This is in line with Optometry Australia’s mission statement to lead, engage and promote optometry, optometrists and community eye health.

CEO Genevieve Quilty said Optometry Australia had been working hard on getting its website higher in search engine rankings.

‘We have been working on optimising our website so that visitors, primarily our members, can access accurate information quickly and easily, for example, when using keyword searches in Google,’ she said.
